Sri.P.Nachimuthu Gounder founded ABT - "The Anamallais Bus Transport
Limited", a passenger transport company on 28.8.1931 at Pollachi, in
Tamilnadu. The company had grown with 150 buses in 110 routes around
Coimbatore region. The company earned goodwill, reputation and trust
from the people and "A B T" brand is built in the market as a strong
brand. "A B T" is a trusted brand and is an asset to the Group. In
1972, Tamilnadu Government nationalized the buses.

Being a great visionary, Dr.N.Mahalingam, our Chairman, felt for
diversification. Under his guidance, Sri A.V.Giri started "ABT
PARCEL SERVICE" in 1964. Today, the company has about 500 own trucks
carrying 1 crore articles weighing 2,20,000 tons worth Rs.3,500
crores every year. We have a network of 500 agents, who are very
reliable and trust-worthy. This division is providing employment to
2,000 people directly and 5,000 people indirectly. ABT PARCEL
SERVICE is operating in Tamilnadu, Pondy, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra,
Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat. The trucks are provided with latest

Dealers for Maruti Udyog Limited In 1984, we have started a new
division under the name "ABT MARUTI", dealership for Maruti Udyog
Limited, the country's top selling car manufacturers. This is one of
the oldest dealers network in the country. The division is having 5
new car showrooms, 16 workshops and 4 true value outlets in
Tamilnadu. About 8,000 Maruti Vehicles are being sold and 1,50,000
vehicles are being serviced per annum by these outlets. This
division has sold about 1,00,000 new cars so far. There are more
than 2,000 people working in this division. They are providing 24x7
services in these outlets. |

| The division has 35 wind mills in Muppanthal area near Nagercoil
in Tamil Nadu producing 200 lakhs units of electricity per year.

value additions as the customers' demands are highly increasing. The
role of goods transport sector is enlarging as Logistics Service
providers, Supply Chain Managers etc. With this objective, "ABT
Exppress" has been started in 2002 with two products,namely Speed
Courier and Speed Cargo. "ABT Exppress" is providing special
customized services to the clients in courier and cargo segments.
